Following is weekend’s results.
U10
Coach – Stefan Callow
Our last match was played at home against Chirnside Park in ideal conditions – weather and crowd – to top off a fine season. The U/10s played a good level of cricket and – yes I know its non-comp – but the results were in the scorebook to Norwood’s advantage. The fielding and bowling innings was entertaining, Norwood took 10 wickets featuring catches run outs and a few bowled. And they batted well too. It was particularly pleasing to see an improvement in running between the wickets with a second run being taken a few more times. I hope all players are pleased with their season as each one has improved from where they started at the beginning of the season and it has been fun. The enthusiasm around the team has been very good. As a player group they have become quite a team – even the opposition coach remarked that they are impressive. Well done to the U/10 boys and girls – we look forward to seeing you all Friday week at the Presentation evening. (Please see attached flyer)
U12
Coach – Rob Tubb
A disappointing loss, yet still all smiles from the boys at the end. All are looking forward to playing together next year.
